Draft Business Case Released

In November 2009 Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council (NBBC) and Rugby Borough Council (RBC) commissioned independent consultants to undertake a business case for joint working, focusing in particular on the consideration of a shared Chief Executive.

The consultants have now produced a final draft of this business case, explaining their findings.

Phase Three Regeneration Programme

The regeneration of Camp Hill Phase Three will transform the area, with 370 properties demolished to make way for more than 800 new homes, providing:

A minimum of 25% new affordable homes,
Quality standards - eco homes, sustainable homes, Building for Life, Secured by Design,
Energy efficiency,
The creation of opportunities for people, through a skills and development programme which includes the use of local labour and local services,
Improved transport links.
