Sign up for the green bin collection service
The service currently costs £45 per bin, per year, and runs from February to January.
How the service works
- Apply for the green bin collection service and we will issue you with a sticker for your existing green lid bin
- You will receive your sticker within 10 working days
- Stick it to the body of your bin, at the rear, below the handle
- This sticker will be unique to you and will match our records
- We will only empty green bins that display a sticker
- If the property does not already have a green lidded bin, a new one will need to be purchased when applying for the green bin collection service
- If you move, you must inform the Council so we can update our records. If moving within the Borough and a green bin does not exist at the new property, take your bin with you and inform the Council of your new address so that a new permit can be sent to you at the new address.
