Visiting the Museum & Art Gallery
The Museum and Art Gallery is set in the beautiful surroundings of Riversley Park. The museum plays host to a lively temporary exhibitions programme. It also has permanent displays of art and social history which includes items related to Larry Grayson. There is also a gallery dedicated to local writer George Eliot.
The museum provides a range of activities, events and lunchtime talks suitable for all ages. The museum is happy to host group visits though prior booking is advised. For details of our school visits and sessions please go to our downloads page.

Museum gift shop
Visit our shop for a range of unusual gifts, from items inspired by the collections, to souvenirs of your visit, fine art cards and children's gifts at pocket money prices.
There is wheelchair access throughout the ground floor, lift to the first floor, an accessible toilet and staff to assist where necessary. A tactile map is available and there are sensory points in some of the galleries.
