Improving your living environment
Over the last six years we have carried out a wide range of work across the borough to improve the environment in which people live. This work includes:
- new and improved lighting for car parks, garage sites and footpaths
- new security fencing
- removing old and disused storage sheds, garages, and bin housings
- replacing worn out paving or tarmac with new
- creating scooter housings to store and charge-up mobility scooters at Sheltered Schemes
- front door renewals (secure by design and fire compliant)
We plan to carry out similar work in future years, reflecting the priority that people give, not just to their homes, but to the area around them too.
