Tootles Tinies for Under 5s

  • Thursday, 18 June: Dinosaur Adventures

Calling all pre-schoolers, join us on a special Thursday of every month, between 11am and 12pm for storytelling, singing and crafting.

Be prepared to join in, make some noise and have some fun. No need to book, just drop in. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a free event, but donations welcomed. 


Friday Lunchtime Talks: The Adventures of Harry Payne - the Edwardian "Literacy Tramp" with Quintin Watt

Find out about the newspaper reviews of a partially sighted vagrant, of towns and villages he visited before and during the Great War. These perceptive snapshots provide a worm's-eye view of Britain, challenging the myth that poor people left no written evidence of their lives and experiences.
