Tootles Tinies for Under 5s
- Thursday, 9 October: Autumn Leaves
Calling all pre-schoolers, join us on a special Thursday of every month, between 11am and 12pm for storytelling, singing and crafting.
Be prepared to join in, make some noise and have some fun. No need to book just drop in. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a free event, but donations welcomed.
Friday Lunchtime Talks: George Eliot Fellowship Readings

The George Eliot Fellowship returns to the Museum to bring their annual programme of readings and poems from our locally born and world famous author George Eliot. Booking is essential.

FREE Saturday Make and Takes: Made in the Middle

- 10:30am to 3:30pm
Visit our Made in the Middle touring show and make a craft picture inspired by the exhibition. No booking required, just drop in. All children must be accompanied by an adult. All activities are free but donations welcomed.
Hands-On History Saturdays
A Baker's Dozen
- Saturday, 18 October
- 11am to 3:15pm
In celebration of National Baking Week, we will get out a dozen (or thirteen) objects from our collections to do with baking. No need to book, just pop along and meet one of our Museum Access Assistants. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The activity is free but donations welcomed.
Family Events Day: Crafts Through The Ages
