Tootles Tinies for Under 5s
- Thursday, 12 March 2026 - Safari Animals
Calling all pre-schoolers, join us on a special Thursday of every month, between 11am and 12pm for storytelling, singing and crafting.
Be prepared to join in, make some noise and have some fun. No need to book just drop in. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a free event, but donations welcomed.
Friday Lunchtime Talks: How to be Good! Storytelling and Morality in Victorian Narrative Painting by Jo Walton

Like us, the Victorians loved a good story. Let us see the rise of narrative paintings that told moral stories with all the verve and excitement of modern day soap operas. Booking is essential.

FREE Saturday Make and Takes: Shopping Bag

In connection with our Markets Exhibition we will designing our own shopping bag.

In celebration of last week's British Science Week, join us to investigate objects relating to science, technology, engineering and maths. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The activity is free but donations welcomed.
FREE Family Events Day: Victorian Events Day

- 11am to 4pm
Meet the Victorians and find out about what life was like 150 years ago. See our wonderous Magic Lantern Show, talk to Captain Wyatt, a Boer Wars Veteran, now Her Majesty's bodyguard and look at objects that once belonged to Nuneaton novelist, George Eliot.
Try your hand at some Victorian games and toys. Drop in, no booking required. Our younger visitors can make a jigsaw. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The activities are free but donations always welcomed.
