Tootles Tinies for Under 5s
- Thursday, 15 October - Autumn Leaves
Calling all pre-schoolers, join us on a special Thursday of every month, between 11am and 12pm for storytelling, singing and crafting.
Be prepared to join in, make some noise and have some fun. No need to book, just drop in. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a free event, but donations welcomed.
Friday Lunchtime Talks: Hastings 1066 by Paul Thompson

Compare the equipment and tactics of an Anglo-Saxon and a Norman. Who would you prefer to be? Could you have lasted a whole day in a shield wall? How different were their household lifestyles?

A chance to see and handle beautifully made items up close. From samplers to bonnets, marvel at the skills these lovely items reveal. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The activity is free but donations welcomed.

This will be a chance to meet costumed characters, hear music, handle objects and learn about the past as well as having fun. Find out about food, festivals and faith in England at this turbulent time in history.
