Tootles Tinies for Under 5s

  • Thursday, 11 December:  Festive Fun

Calling all pre-schoolers, join us on a special Thursday of every month, between 11am and 12pm for storytelling, singing and crafting.

Be prepared to join in, make some noise and have some fun. No need to book just drop in. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a free event, but donations welcomed. 


Friday Lunchtime Talks: Morecambe & Wise - Steve Short

Using photographs and video clips, Steve Short will bring to life the story of how these great two comedians met to become Britain's most loved double act. Booking is essential.

FREE Saturday Make and Takes:  Click! What a Picture!

Join us to make a pinhole camera and decorate your very own photo frame. No booking required, just drop in.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  All activities are free but donations welcomed.


Hands-On History Saturdays: Click! What a Picture!

 This sessions looks at the works of local photographers Brian Wood, Reg Bull and Clare Speight and also features an impressive selection of cameras from the Museum's collection chosen by the Museum Access Assistants. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The activity is free but donations welcomed.


New Year's Day Quiz

If you fancy a break from the sales or just getting off the sofa for an hour or two, join us for a New Year Quiz and test your knowledge about Nuneaton and the Museum. We are open at 10:30am on Thursday, 1 January, so pop along and see whats in store for next year.


Family Events Day:  Victorian Family Events Day

  • 11am to 4pm

Meet the Victorians and find out about what life was like 150 years ago.  Get a closer look at objects that once belonged to Nuneaton novelist, George Eliot.  Try your hand at some Victorian games and toys. Drop in, no booking required.

 All children must be accompanied by an adult. The activity is free but donations always welcomed.
