Nuneaton Museum and Art Gallery provides a unique resource for your pupils. Our programme of school resources offer a range of self led activities to help make the most of the museum. Advance booking is essential for all schools wanting to make a group visit to ensure access to the areas you want to visit.

George Eliot and The Victorians

Key Stage 1 and 2. Fully supported session lasting one and a half hours. Your pupils have the opportunity to handle Victorian objects, dress up, learn about local author George Eliot and study artwork in the Museum's Picture Gallery.

  • £3 per child, minimum booking of £50

The Time Traveller's Mission

Key Stage 2. Fully supported workshop lasting one and a half hours. Your pupils will solve puzzles, crack codes, handle artefacts and dress up to uncover dates for historical periods. Pupils will work together to uncover key events throughout British and local Nuneaton history.

Learn about the history of Nuneaton Abbey in a fun and interactive workshop. There are resources and activities to use in the classroom, as part of a visit to the site and post visit resources.

All activities and resources are flexible to use as suits the class and time available. There are separate resources for Key Stage 1 and 2.
