Scrutiny Panel meetings and minutes

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is a Social Housing Landlord. As part of this the Council must adhere to the Regulator of Social Housing Consumer Standards

In relation to Engagement with tenants this requires registered providers to give tenants a wide range of meaningful opportunities to influence and scrutinise their landlord’s strategies, policies and services. This includes in relation to the neighbourhood where applicable.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has setup a Housing Scrutiny Panel alongside individual panels of Involved Tenants which include:

  • Assets
  • Neighbourhoods (including Anti-Social Behaviour, Estates Management, Grounds Maintenance)
  • Independent Living
  • Communication
  • Complaints

Meeting dates

  • Housing Scrutiny Panel - The next meeting of the Housing Scrutiny Panel is Thursday, 26 March 2026 at 10:30am to 12:30pm
  • Assets Panel - The next meeting of the Housing Asset Panel is Thursday, 16th April 10:30am - 12:30pm
  • Anti-Social Behaviour & Neighbourhood Panel - The next meeting of the Housing Asset Panel is Thursday, 2nd April 10:30am - 12:30pm
  • Independent Living Panel - The next meeting of the Housing Asset Panel is Monday, 27th April 10:30am - 12:30pm
  • Communication Panel - The next meeting of the Housing Asset Panel is Thursday 23rd April 10:30am - 12:30pm 
  • Complaints Panel - The next meeting of the Housing Asset Panel is Thursday, 12th March 10:30am - 12:30pm

All meetings unless otherwise specified will take place at Nuneaton Town Hall in one of the Committee Meeting Rooms. Staff will meet Involved Tenants on site at reception or make contact to confirm attendance.

This will include recommendations from each panel meeting and how this has been escalated to the Housing Portfolio Holder and Strategic Director for consideration.
