Tree removal and stumps
Most trees that need to be felled are done so because the tree has become unsafe and there is no cost effective solution to otherwise retain the tree.
When a tree is felled it is not always possible to replant at the same time. Under these circumstances, a 50cm high tree stump is left as a temporary measure to mark the position of the planting site.
