Cemeteries fees and charges
For those wishing to have someone laid to rest in one of our cemeteries, there are two main fees that need to be taken into consideration; first is the fee for the purchase of a grave space and the second for the burial itself.
- For non-residents of the borough, all fees (excluding ash scatterings) need to be multiplied by three
Purchase of a grave (exclusive right of burial for a 50-year lease)
- Persons under 18 years - £510
- Persons 18 years and over - £1,174
- For cremated remains - £583
Interment (burial) fees
- Persons under 18 years - £762
- Grave depth for one person - £762
- Grave depth for two persons - £1,005
- Grave depth for three persons (Oaston Road only) - £1,232
- Burial or loose interment of cremated remains - £314
- Scattering of ashes from Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton - £60
- Scattering of ashes (two or more) in different places in a Garden of Remembrance (cremated at Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton) - £60 x 2
- Scattering of ashes from crematoriums other than Heart of England, Nuneaton - £134
- Usher service (fee to be added to all burials and interments of cremated remains) - £60
- Short notice burials: Out of hours (Saturday) surcharge - £300

- Fee for interment of cremated remains at same time as another burial or interment (Fee applies for each additional interment taking place at the same time, at the same place and in the same grave or cremation plot) - £32.50
