Local discount scheme
The Council has introduced a scheme which has the aim to incentivise the creation of jobs for local people where there is a return on investment from higher, future rates income.
In order to qualify for this relief, the applicant must be:
- business starting up in the area, or
- business relocating to the area, or
- existing business expansion within the area
