Festival of Arts flowers artwork

You will be amazed by the quality and expanse of work on display, which includes pieces by children, young people and adults.

Distributed over two large spaces in the White and Yellow Galleries, the exhibition is an amazing platform for the visual arts that brings together and celebrates the Borough’s diverse range of talent.

Taking place each year in the Borough and organised by a team of dedicated volunteers, the Nuneaton Festival of Arts includes not only visual arts but also speech, drama and music.

Each year, the festival features public submissions, with awards given to the best artwork in each category.

Local artists have been hard at work creating the pieces and there is a fantastic variety of subjects and mediums to admire and inspire.

There’s also half a gallery dedicated to the creative work of our budding young artists which showcases works from pupils at many local schools.

With artworks often for sale at reasonable prices, there’s a chance you’ll be able to take your favourite home!

This year marks the 78th anniversary of this much-loved festival which always receives a huge response, and this year is no different.

Councillor Brady Hughes, Portfolio holder for Leisure and Health said:

"It’s wonderful to see so much local talent within the community!

"It’s great that everyone can take part in the Festival of Arts, from children to adults, and that their work can be celebrated.

"By visiting this event at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery you’ll be supporting both your local Museum and local artists.”

Remember, as with all our exhibitions, admission is FREE though donations are always welcomed.
