Global firm highlights why North Warwickshire is the right place to invest - 3M opens new facility at MIRA Tech Park.
Science and technology company 3M has praised North Warwickshire as the ideal location for its new Skills Development Centre at HORIBA MIRA, citing the area's strong automotive cluster, central location and concentration of innovative businesses. The facility has already welcomed more than 100 trainees since opening in May.
3M operates in a whole host of sectors in more than 70 countries and is famous for household products including Post-it Notes and Scotch Tape. This facility will provide hands-on training courses that cover core aspects across the vehicle repair process, including a wide range of industrial abrasives processes, from metal fabrication to automation and fine surface finishing.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council’s Economic Development Team continues to work closely with HORIBA MIRA to support business growth, investment and networking opportunities.
