Business networking
Across Nuneaton and Bedworth, a diverse range of business networking groups play a vital role in supporting the growth and resilience of the local economy. These groups bring together entrepreneurs, start‑ups, established companies, and partner organisations to share knowledge, collaborate, and unlock new opportunities. They play an important role in strengthening the local economy by fostering connections, encouraging innovation, and providing a platform for businesses to raise awareness of their products and services.
The Economic Development Team is actively involved in many of these networking events, ensuring that local businesses stay informed about the wide range of support available. By maintaining a consistent presence across the local business community, the team builds strong relationships, gains insight into emerging needs, and ensures that business support across the borough is responsive, accessible, and aligned with wider economic ambitions. This includes:
- Promoting current grant schemes
- Signposting to training and upskilling opportunities
- Sharing updates on regeneration and development projects
- Providing guidance to help businesses grow, adapt, and thrive
LOVE Nuneaton & Bedworth: Strengthening Partnerships at MIRA Tech Park
As part of our commitment to boosting local collaboration, the Economic Development Team works closely with partners to deliver high‑quality networking opportunities.
Recently, the new LOVE Nuneaton & Bedworth business network was launch at a B2B Networking Breakfast, held at MIRA Tech Park and delivered in partnership with Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and HORIBA MIRA. The event brought businesses from across the borough together for a session themed around unlocking opportunity through collaboration.
Key speakers included:
- Jodie Gosling MP, who provided insights into the UK Industrial Strategy
- Sarah Windrum, who highlighted the scale of opportunity within the Tech Park ecosystem
- Gerald La Touche, who outlined a future vision for the network, centred on connection and growth
Feedback from attendees was extremely positive, marking the launch of a new programme designed to support long‑term business growth and stronger regional partnerships.
