Arranging a burial
Before a burial can take place, the death must be registered with the Registrar within the area that the death occurred. For deaths that have occurred in Nuneaton and Bedworth, contact Warwickshire County Council Registrar.
It is the responsibility of the executor of the deceased's estate or next of kin to make the funeral arrangements. However, many families choose to appoint a funeral director to assist them with the process who will arrange the burial with our office on their behalf.
Burials may take place between 9.00am and 3.00pm Monday to Friday. These times may vary depending on the season and time of sunset.
