The Department of Work and Pensions

The Department of Work and Pensions provides a range of bereavement benefits to help assist with the costs of bereavement and funeral expenses.

Cruse Bereavement Care

Is a national charity offering support, advice, and information to people dealing with a bereavement. Support is offered by telephone, email, online and face-to-face. Services are provided by trained volunteers and is confidential and free. Their support can be accessed online or by telephone on their helpline 0808 808 1677.

Sands

For support following the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth, The Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (SANDS) can be contacted online or by telephone at 020 7436 5881.
