Public inquiry at The Long Shoot, Nuneaton

A public inquiry is taking place in reference to an outline planning application for up to 500 dwellings (with public open space, landscaping, sustainable drainage system SUDS and vehicular access points) proposed to be built on land off The Long Shoot, Nuneaton (with all matters reserved other than access).

The proposed description of the development was amended by the Appellant on 3 January 2024. The amendment results in the provision of land on site to accommodate a one Form of Entry Primary School. The amended description of development is therefore provided below:

"Outline planning application for the erection of up to 500 dwellings with land for primary school, public open space, landscaping, sustainable drainage system (SuDS) and vehicular access points. All matters reserved except for means of access."

An inspector has been appointed by the Secretary of State and the appeal will be heard by way of a public inquiry. The inquiry is scheduled to sit for eight days.
