What are performance measures
We publish our performance data so that residents, tenants and communities can see how effectively we are delivering services. Our aim is to give you a clear, honest picture of how we are performing and where we can improve.
What are performance measures
Performance measures help us understand how well the Council is delivering key services for residents, businesses, and communities. They show:
- whether we are meeting our targets (where applicable)
- areas where performance is improving
- areas where we need to focus more attention
How to read the performance measures
We are providing key measures that are of general interest to residents. Each measure includes:
- what is being measured – a short description of the service or outcome we monitor
- our current performance – the latest results available
- our target, if applicable – the level of performance we aim to achieve
- trend information – whether performance is improving, declining, or stable over time
- comparative data - Where available, we also compare our performance with the previous year
Our commitment to transparency
We are committed to continuously improving how we publish and explain our performance data. We aim to make our information:
- clear and easy to understand
- up to date
- meaningful and relevant to residents, tenants and communities
