Published on Friday, 1st July 2016
A touring exhibition from St. Barbe Museum & Art Gallery 23 July – 18 September at the Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery
Paul Kidby is best known as the illustrator for Terry Pratchett’s Discworld books. This exhibition shows an exciting selection of Paul Kidby’s original paintings and drawings - and includes many of the much loved characters which visitors may recognise.
Remind yourself of familiar faces and stories as ‘Reaperman’, ‘Greebo’ and ‘Sergeant Vimes’ are just some of the illustrations presented.
The Museum shop will also have lots of Paul Kidby goodies available for sale, so anyone wanting to take a piece of the magic home with them can explore a selection of bookmarks, prints and cards.
Remember entry to the show is free!
“Paul Kidby’s illustrations are so widely known that this show of his work is set to be one of the summer highlights for Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery. The popularity of Terry Pratchett’s characters and the skill in Paul Kidby’s pictures are sure to make this a favourite amongst visitors.”
