The General Election will take place on Thursday, 4 July, and this year sees a record high for people registered to vote in Nuneaton at 71,483, up from 70,226 in 2019.

As polling day for the General Election 2024 approaches, voters in Nuneaton are reminded to cast their vote.

As with the Local Elections in May, voters will need a valid form of Photo ID in order to vote at a polling station. However, this is the first time that a photo ID has been needed in order to elect a parliamentary candidate.

Common forms of accepted ID include driving licences, passports, and older person’s bus passes.

Polling stations across Nuneaton will open at 7:00am on election day, closing 15 hours later at 10:00pm.

This will provide time for residents to vote at their own convenience, whether this is before work, following the school run, or while taking the dog for a walk.

Your polling station for the General Election can be found on your poll card. If you do not know your polling station or just need a reminder, visit our where's my polling station webpage and enter your postcode.
