Nuts: Bolts: Birds by Ruth Watkins
Published on Monday, 13th June 2016
Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery. On now until 7 August 2016. This fun display brings out a different side to those Meccano kits which many of us enjoyed playing with as children.
This show of delicately-made mechanical birds is sure to fascinate young and old alike.
In this show you can also find out what other items Ruth makes use when making her birds, as well as see a film which shows some of them in motion. Creative visitors can also get busy making paper birds of their own – as well as trying out all of the other activity sheets we have available throughout the building.
Remember, as with all our shows, admission is FREE!
In addition to our events, activities and permanent displays there is a chance to see
‘The Drawbridge Art Group’ and ‘Galaxy in the Gallery’, which are both on show until July 10th.
