Nuneaton Festival of Arts - Craft & Needlecraft

Published on Thursday, 28th April 2016

Last but by no means least, this is the final show of this year’s Festival of Arts exhibitions at the Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery 23 April - 15 May.

We’re expecting to show both craft and needlecraft items with a great variety of techniques and themes, and hope visitors will come out to celebrate the wealth of local talent which is sure to be on display.

Entries often include great examples of embroidery, soft toys, ceramics, applique, quilting and much more.

For each show the Festival of Arts team invites judges to come and select winners from the entries. This year’s adjudicator for Needlecraft will be coming from the Warwickshire Federation of Women’s Institutes and this year’s Craft judge teaches – so, will your entry be top of the class?

It’s free to come and explore this rich and varied show, and there’s also chance to enjoy all the other activities and displays throughout the building.

There’s still chance to see:

Play & Display! Paper and Card Toys, on show until 22 May and Hilary Morris, on show until 5 June.
