Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the devastating floods in Nepal at this deeply difficult time.
The Borough has a significant Nepalese population of more than 3,000 people who have supported our Borough through military service, charitably causes and a peaceful way of life.
The Nepalese and Gurkha communities are a valued and much-loved part of our Borough.
Individuals of the Borough’s Nepalese community are so often recognised for their respectfulness, law abiding nature, and their contribution to our home.
Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and we sincerely hope for the safety and wellbeing of all those in Nepal and those waiting anxiously for news of loved ones in our Borough.
