As well as great temporary exhibitions, Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery offers free activities during school holidays and on some Saturdays.
We have pre-school storytelling sessions and the chance to get hands on with objects from our collection. Some key dates are listed below:
Summer holiday activities, inspired by the Commonwealth Games:

- Friday, 21 August - Make a sporting mobile
- Thursday, 27 August - Make your own paper plate frisbee
- Friday, 28 August - Make a windmill with sails
Tootles Tinies:
These sessions are for pre-schoolers and their families. You will never know what you might get to try between 10:45am and 11:45am. Just drop in.
- Thursday, 20 August - Seaside
- Thursday, 17 September - Museum Clock
Cllr Bobbie Greenwood, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Health, said:
“There really are some fantastic activities for all of the family to enjoy during the summer holidays.
“Join us at the Museum for an unforgettable experience and while here, why not take a look at our other exhibitions, for example the Ismatjahan’s World exhibition and the permanent George Eliot exhibition.’’
As with all the shows, admission is free, though donations are always welcomed, and there are also several temporary exhibitions to enjoy throughout the building.
