The new water confidence paddling pool set for Pingles Leisure Centre

Work has begun on an exciting £2million refurbishment at Pingles Leisure Centre in Nuneaton, with further works planned for Jubilee Sports Centre in a few months' time.

The Pingles site, run by award-winning operator Everyone Active in partnership with Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, is undergoing a project scheduled to be completed by January 2026.

It is being funded by a joint investment from Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Everyone Active.

Once completed, Pingles Leisure Centre will feature an extended and enhanced gym, new group cycling studio and new water features. The main group exercise studio is being relocated downstairs and will have a new look and feel.

The gym is set for a huge expansion, from 80 stations to 130, and will feature state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment to help people of all ages achieve their perfect workout.

There will be a brand-new water confidence paddling pool with interactive features, while the outdoor pool will be refurbished and will include new features.

In addition, front of house and the café will be remodelled, and while work has started on refurbishing the ground floor changing village, this will remain open at a reduced capacity.

“Expanding the gyms and introducing state-of-the-art equipment will give its users greater opportunity to stay active and healthy.

“The new water confidence paddling pool and remodelled café at the Pingles will be even more welcoming for families and people of all ages, helping us to build not only a healthier, but more connected community.”
