Various repair works are due to take place at Oaston Road Cemetery, Nuneaton from 4 to 18 August 2025.
To keep visitors safe whilst the repair works are being undertaken, the old Garden of Remembrance area and some sections of the Rose Lawn will be temporarily fenced off.
Therefore, any memorials, urns and benches within these locations will not be accessible to the public for up to two weeks, throughout the duration of the works.
Some of the memorials, urns and benches will also need to be temporarily moved from their paving slabs so that the slabs can be re-laid. They will be placed back in position once the maintenance work has been completed.
Cllr Brady Hughes, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Health, said:
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused. This essential maintenance work needs to take place in order to keep the cemetery at its best and safe for visitors both now and in the future and we thank you for your patience at this time.
