This year’s Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week runs from Monday, June 30 June until Sunday, 6 July.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Team and Communities Team are taking part in the week, which encourages communities to take a stand against ASB and highlights the actions victims can take.
The event is organised by Resolve, and this year will feature a series of events across local authorities and Police, and other partner agencies will also be involved.
The theme for 2025 is #MakingCommunitiesSafer and this year, the focus is on four main tasks:
- Guaranteed support for victims of ASB.
- Resolve delays in the Justice System.
- One single, national Information Sharing Agreement
- Making it easier to report ASB.
Cllr Chris Watkins, Leader of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Portfolio Holder for Housing, said:
“Anti-Social behaviour is something we take very seriously in our borough and will not tolerate.
“The awareness week is of massive importance in alerting our residents to the measures we have in place to combat ASB and we would like to invite anyone who may have an issue with it, or would like more information to come along.’’
