During February we ran a Photo a day challenge over social media. For every day of the month you would use each theme for inspiration to take some beautiful pictures around our borough.
February has been and gone and with your help, we've captured every day, picking out 28 different reasons to #LOVEOURBOROUGH. You would simply use the photo prompt for each day of the month to spark your imagination and get creative. Whether you love photography, trying to get more camera happy or just like to explore and be artistic, then this was a fun way to showcase all of our boroughs best bits.
Some of our themes included: Riversley Park, Almshouses and George Eliot. One theme in particular which piqued people's interest was day 5 - 'Ghost Signs'. A ghost sign is an old hand painted advertising sign that has been preserved on a building for an extended period. Next time you're out and about in Nuneaton and Bedworth take a look up at some of our old buildings and you may see them. Here's a couple of ghost signs people found in our #PHOTOADAY challenge.
So March has finally arrived - the month of change and regrowth, winter finally starts to disappear and the grass and flowers start to emerge. If you enjoyed taking part in February, then keep your eyes open for our next #PHOTOADAY challenge - coming soon.
Thank you to everyone who took part last month, you captured some beautiful angles of our borough and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing them come through each day!
