
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is pleased to announce that works have started on the construction of 23 new, high-quality council homes in Bedworth.
This exciting new development is part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to provide much-needed, council homes for residents in the borough, with new dwellings including one, two, three and four-bedroom properties.
The new homes are being built across two sites in Bedworth at Armson Road and Cheveral Road.
- Armson Road: 15 dwellings, comprising six one-bed flats, six two-bedroom houses, and three four-bedroom houses
- Cheveral Road: eight dwellings, comprising four one-bed flats and four two-bedroom houses
Harper Group, known for its record in delivering residential developments, began work on site in late April, and If all goes according to plan, tenants can expect to be in their new homes in Cheveral Road in February 2026 and Armson Road in April 2026.
Cllr Chris Watkins, Council Leader and Portfolio Holder for Housing, said:

This development forms part of the Council’s ongoing commitment increases the number of council homes available for residents, and to support local businesses and create vibrant, sustainable communities across the borough.
