Society of Artists Annual Exhibition

The incredibly talented artists of the Coventry and Warwickshire Society of Artists have brought their annual show to Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery.

Featuring oil and watercolour paintings, textile pieces, fine pencil drawings and linocut work, the society's exhibition has been described as ‘Wonderful’ by visitors.

On display until 5 July, visitors even have a chance of acquiring one of the artworks as many are for sale.

The artists featured include Susan Moore, John Freeman, Uthaya Swoboda, Jackie Terrett, Emma Gluyas, Shelia Cowan, Kate Purcell, Virginia Murphy, Trevor Bendell and Vesela Sultanova.

Cllr Brady Hughes, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Health, said:

“It’s great to see the work of these local talented artists on show, where they can be enjoyed by everyone.

“Our museum is a fantastic place to explore, with half term coming up for local schools and colleges, this would be a great opportunity for residents and families to pop along to view these pieces and everything we have to offer."
