Businesses in the borough are now able to take advantage of a new unit on the Attleborough Fields Industrial Estate.

The unit was funded by the Nuneaton and Bedworth`s share of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), part of central Government’s mission to level up the United Kingdom.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has leased the unit from Warwickshire County Council at its Centenary Business Park.

The unit has now been fitted out by two local businesses, Cawthornes and Chillaire.

It can be used by borough businesses and partners at no cost for 12 months.

The unit offers a flexible space with an informal break out area, desk spaces, a large area that could be used for training, workshops, networking, meetings, and offers free Wi-Fi and parking.

The unit is a flexible working space with an informal break out area, free to use for local businesses and the Council's support partners and is on two floors.

The ground floor has a large area with tables and chairs, suitable for meetings, networking, training and a smaller less formal area with more comfortable seating for smaller meetings.

The first floor comprises of two offices, each with two desks, ideal if someone needed a desk for a day, or to meet a client. There is also free parking, Wi-Fi, tea and coffee, and some stationery available.

Cllr Nicky King, Portfolio Holder for Business and Regeneration, said:

“This really is a fantastic facility and something which is essential as we continue to grow our borough economically.

“It is hoped that borough businesses will benefit from the free facilities on offer and that this unit will play a large part in our business development plans.’’
