Taking place from Saturday, 1 February, to Saturday, 8 March, at the Riversley Park building.
This exhibition gives the visitors the chance to see some of the museum’s sculptures, world culture objects and decorative arts which are not normally on display.
The museum is lucky to look after works by local artists such as John Letts and Edward Hellawell, alongside unknown artists from across the globe which form part of our World Cultures Collection.
In these works, artists have endeavoured to bring their world to life.
The pieces include themes of everyday life, the natural world, and belief.
As usual there will be family friendly activities in the gallery.
Tim Jenkins, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Communities and Health, said:
“We know from talking to our visitors that they are keen to see as much of the collections as possible.
“This exhibition celebrates the diversity and quality of the objects which the museum cares for.
“There is sure to be something interesting for everyone.”
As with all our shows, admission is free though donations are always welcome.
While at the Museum why not check out our temporary exhibitions?
