Three slippers crafted from paper

Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery has teamed up with talented artist Jennifer Collier to offer a stitched paper slipper workshop.

The workshop will take place on Friday 7 February from 11am to 4pm, booking cost is £35.

Visitors can create hand stitched paper slippers from paper ephemera.

They will be shown by Jennifer Collier how to patchwork papers together to make a bigger paper fabric to make the work from, as well as several different options to really personalise their slippers.

Attendees will learn a range of hand stitches and techniques such as paper roses and Suffolk puffs to add decorative details.

All materials are provided but visitors may wish to bring along their own papers and books to personalise their slippers.

Book direct on 0333 666 3366 or online through Ticket Source.
