All residents in the borough should have now received and completed their canvass forms.
Please be aware our canvassers are now out-and-about knocking on doors in Nuneaton and Bedworth to obtain information from households which haven’t replied.
Forms should be completed online by following the instructions on the front page of your form and using the two part security numbers printed on the letter.
What happens next if you:
- Confirm there are no changes - we won't write to you again until the next canvass.
- Inform us of new people - we will send each person an "invitation to register" which can be completed online. You must complete this form if you wish to be registered on the electoral roll.
- Confirm someone has moved away - we will send the person a further letter to clarify this. By law we are required to have two pieces of evidence to remove someone from the electoral register.
PLEASE NOTE: completing the HEF does not mean you are registered. You will need to complete the invitation to register form or register individually online at www.gov.uk/registertovote
The benefits of being on the electoral register is not just being able to vote but also obtaining credit.
