Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery has teamed up with talented artist Jennifer Collier to offer two workshops at the museum this winter.
The first, coming up in November, is to make a paper flower wreath in time for the upcoming festivities, and the second to create paper slippers is in the New Year.
Following feedback from the museum’s own consultation as well as the Cultural Strategy, people said they wanted to see more workshops taking place, and these events are a test to see whether there is an audience.
Cllr Tim Jenkins, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Communities and Health, said:
“It’s great that we are looking at different ways of enabling people to get involved and try new artistic activities.
“Engaging in new, creative projects can be really beneficial for our mental health and quality of life.
“Let’s hope this is just the start of a range of similar events at the museum.’’
