Anti-Social Behaviour poster

We need your feedback on two newly developed documents that set out how the Council will tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB).

Anti-social behaviour can cause acute distress to those whose lives are affected by it and is an issue that the Council takes extremely seriously and one it is determined to address.

The draft Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Strategy for 2023 to 2025 provides the framework by which the Council will work with its partners to tackle ASB across the borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth.

The newly proposed draft ASB Policy for 2024 to 2027 outlines the proposed methods we will use to inform borough tenants and residents when managing reports of ASB whilst clarifying the standards of behaviour expected from residents.

Your feedback and opinions on these documents are extremely important – we need to make sure that both reflect what you feel is most valuable to you.

Cllr Tim Jenkins, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Communities and Health, said:

“Tackling anti-social behaviour is a priority for Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council. As a social landlord, we know that providing a quality housing service goes beyond bricks and mortar and that failing to address anti-social behaviour correctly can have a significant impact upon the cohesion of our communities.

“We are determined to deliver the best possible service to our residents by learning from others, sharing good practice and working with partners and residents to ensure that this ever-evolving concern is given the time and attention it deserves.”

You can provide your feedback on the Council website until 29 October via the Draft ASB strategy and Draft ASB policy online forms.

If you would prefer to speak with someone or receive a home visit from one of the Council’s Tenant Engagement Officers, this can be arranged at a time and date that is convenient for you by emailing tenant.engagement@nuneatonandbedwroth.gov.uk.
