Envelope elections

Every residential household in Nuneaton and Bedworth will shortly be receiving their Household Enquiry Form. 

Please check the form carefully to make sure your information is correct.

If you fail to return the registration form, you and other members of your household will not be included in the revised Register of Electors and will not be able to vote.

Residents are asked to detail everyone who is eligible to register or will become eligible to vote. There is a requirement by law to supply the Electoral Registration Officer with this information. 

How Do I Respond?

There are three ways you can respond to the canvass:

   a) Call this number 0800 197 9871

If all the details are correct you can confirm they are accurate and when prompted insert your security code as detailed on the form.

   b) Or Respond Online at www.householdresponse.com/nbbc

You can confirm the details are correct or make any changes which need to be included.

   c) Or By Post (responding by phone or online helps to save the council money)

You can complete and post back the form in the return envelope which will have been included with the form sent to you. Where possible please phone or respond online and do not send the form back to us.

Why do I need to respond to the canvass?

 It is a legal requirement to provide accurate information for the electoral register, if you do not respond to the canvass you may be removed from the electoral register and unable to vote in elections. You may also have difficulty in obtaining credit which could impact on applications for mortgages, credit cards, mobile phones, etc.
