Bin collection day changes

We are making changes to bin collection days, and these will come into effect from Monday, 25 September 2023.

What is changing

Around 40% of our bin collections are changing. This may be the:

• day your bin is collected
• week it is collected
• the same bin may be collected two weeks in a row, for example, your black bin may be collected in the last collection on the old round, and your black bin may be the first collection on the new round

How will we notify you

• Everyone will receive a postcard in early September detailing their bin day. You will receive a postcard whether your collection day is changing or not

Put your bin out

• Ensure your bin is presented by 7:00am on your collection day
