The Mayor's Appeal 2025/26

At a launch held at Nuneaton Town Hall, the first ever Gurkha Mayor of the borough, Cllr Bhim Saru and Mayoress Sharmila Saru, announced that the civic charity for 2025/26 is Nuneaton Heritage Centre.

Money raised during the appeal will support Chilvers Coton Heritage Centre repair and restore the stonework to the 18th century Heritage and Community Centre.

The Centre is administered by a group of Trustees who have worked with the aid of lottery and other grants to improve the appearance of the building, which is owned by the Council, but run and financed by local people.
