The new Bedworth Physical Activity Hub will replace the existing 1970’s centre, with facilities including a 25m eight lane pool, learner pool, 100 station fitness suite, a spin studio, changing areas, state-of-the-art 3G sports pitch, four court sports hall and café.
Set in Miners Welfare Park, the park itself is also undergoing a major transformation, with the goal to create an active landscape, which wraps around and compliments the new building. With support and funding from Sports England, the project boasts a series of new mountain bike trails, and features a new all wheels skatepark, learn-to-ride area, and pump track.
The existing leisure centre is continuing to operate whilst the Hub is being built, with an expected completion date of Summer 2026, with the aim to provide improved facilities and help to increase active recreation opportunities for everyone within the borough.
