Clinical waste collection
Request a clinical waste collection
We provide a free clinical waste collection service to residents who have medical conditions that generate waste, which must be disposed of under controlled conditions.
- waste, excluding needles, must be sealed in the clinical waste bag
- needles must not be placed in the clinical waste bag
- needles will only be collected if they are secured in a sharps box
After we have collected your clinical waste:
- we will provide you with a clinical waste bag after every non-sharps collection
- we do not provide sharps boxes - you must request this from your GP or Pharmacist
