Rejected bins
Recycling brown-lid bins will not be collected if the following reasons apply, and a non-collection notice will be left on the bin if:
- incorrect items are found within the bin - the tag left on the bin will explain why
- the bin has been presented late, after 7:00am
What to do if your brown-lid bin is rejected
- Remove any incorrect items and the red bin hanger
- Wait for the next collection
- Alternatively, waste can be taken to Judkins Household Recycling Centre in Nuneaton
Rejected green bin
Green bins will not be collected if the following reasons apply, and a non-collection notice will be left on the bin if:
- incorrect items are found within the bin - the non-collection notice will explain why
- incorrect bags have been used for food waste (bags used must be compostable)
- the bin is too heavy or overloaded to empty
- the bin was presented after 7:00am

- Remove any incorrect items and non-collection notice
- Wait for the next collection
- Waste can be taken to Judkins Household Recycling Centre in Nuneaton
