Hard standing
This applies to paths, paved areas, garage sites, and Council-owned car parks.
At each maintenance visit, the surface of these areas will be swept so that they are left free ofweeds, grass, leaves, debris and litter.
During periods of snow, ice, freezing weather, maintained paths and paved areas will be cleared of snow and ice, and rock salt or grit will be applied.
Priority will be given firstly to council housing schemes, high footfall paths within the main parks and open spaces, and cemeteries.
