Report a stray dog
Report a stray dog as soon as possible and our animal warden will arrange to collect the dog.
A dog may be considered a stray if it is roaming freely and is not under the control of any person.
If you have taken possession of a stray dog, we kindly ask that you keep it safely contained, where possible, until the Animal Warden is able to collect it during working hours.
Alternatively, dogs found at weekends can be taken directly to the council’s kennelling contractor: Raining Cats and Dogs Kennels and Cattery, London Road, Stretton-on-Dunsmore, Rugby, CV23 9HX.
We would advise that you call ahead to confirm availability. The kennels are open 9:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Sunday.
