Government support for small and medium-sized businesses

  • The government has announced a long-term plan to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)

Warwickshire County Council finance, loans, and grants

  • Local Communities & Enterprise Fund

    • The Local Communities and Enterprise Fund (LCE) is specifically designed to support a range of SMEs, regardless of your trading status - micro businesses, smaller and medium businesses, start-ups, and social enterprises with loans between £1,000 up to £150,000.

  • Duplex Investment Fund

    • For businesses in Coventry and Warwickshire with at least 2 years of profitable trading, DLP is a combined loan and grant to support capital investment, with up to 40% of costs covered through a grant after purchase. 

  • Property and Infrastructure Fund

    • Aimed at supporting businesses looking to grow in or relocate to Warwickshire, this fund provides loans of £2m-£10m to support commercial projects, with repayment terms available up to five years. 

    • Eligible developments include office, industrial, and warehouse developments, refurbishments, new housing projects offering innovative sustainability solutions, early-stage infrastructure funding, and mixed-use schemes.
