Online historical record searches
Use this service to search historical Council burial and cremation records (where available) from the opening of the borough's first cemetery opening in 1875 through to 2002, view related grave details, and request copies of documents where possible.
Records may include (availability varies by site and date):
- Burial and cremation registers
- Grave details (who is buried in each grave, where recorded)
Search using Deceased Online
The primary route for accessing historical records is through Deceased Online, where records for Nuneaton Crematorium 1957 to 1994 and the five council cemeteries in the borough are available to view.
There are two ways to search:
- Simple searching is free, this provides a basic name, date of death and location of the deceased
- Advanced Searching is available to registered users who have a subscription or on a pay-per-view basis to view the scanned pages of the historic registers
