A year 5 student from Race Leys Junior School in Bedworth is the winner of 5K Fun Run T-shirt design competition.
The other primary schools that entered were Milby, The Canons CE and St Francis. The theme of the competition was ‘what’s your perfect garden?’ which gave students the opportunity to think of creative ways to design the T-shirt artwork.
Cllr Ian Lloyd, Portfolio Holder for Arts and Leisure said:
“Congratulations to Race Leys Junior School for winning the T-shirt colouring competition! It’s always a pleasure when we get schools involved with events we have going on in the Borough, and the 5K Fun Run T-shirt competition was a great opportunity for them to use their imagination for a great cause.”
Sue-Ellen Lamb, Head of Race Leys Junior School said:
“Amazing job well done! We are all very proud of you at Race Leys School as I am sure are your parents. It is so nice to have our children’s talents recognised, who knows we may be educating the new Vincent Van Gogh!
“This could well be a new ‘Proud Tradition’ now at Race Leys.”
