The Midlands Open and the British Nationals tournament at the Bedworth Disc Golf Club

The Bedworth Disc Golf Club will be holding the Midlands Open and British Nationals tournament from Saturday 29 February – Sunday 1 March at the Miners Welfare Park.

Hosted at the Ex-Servicemen’s club, the Midlands Open will be a two day Professional Disc Golf Association rated event with 3 rounds of 18 and a final 9 for the top 5 in each division.

This event is also on the British Disc Golf Association tour, and will include a great player’s pack with top notch prizes provided by Ace Disc Golf and DiscGolf UK.

The British Nationals is a match play tournament with the top 16 players in the country. The event will consist of 4 rounds of match play over the weekend, with a number 1 being crowned for winning all 4 matches.

Cllr Ian Lloyd, Portfolio Holder for Arts and Leisure said:

“We are looking forward to the Midlands Open and British Nationals tournaments that will hopefully be an exciting two days experience for golf lovers in the area!”

Tournament entry fees are £30 and there will also be discounted drinks available from the bar at the club on Saturday evening.
