The 20/21 green bin collection scheme starts soon
Published on Friday, 3rd January 2020
Following the introduction of the opt-in green bin collection scheme last year, the service renewal is approaching and the 2020/2021 service will begin on Monday 3rd February 2020.
Customers wishing to sign up should ensure they have done so by Friday 17th January 2020 in order to receive their stickers in time to start receiving collections.
There will be a two weeks suspension to the green bin collection service prior to the new service beginning. The service will be suspended from Monday 20th January until the new scheme begins in February.
Whilst sign-ups to the service can be taken up to October 2020, please be aware that service subscription stickers can take up to 10 working days to be delivered and fortnightly collections will not begin until new permit stickers are visible on the bin. There are no reductions for part-year sign-ups.
Customers can sign up to the service either online @ www.nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk/greenbins or over the phone by calling 02476 376170.
There are compost bin offers available to residents, which can be used in place of, or to accompany the green bin collection service and these can be found at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/composting
