Another successful day for Nuneaton youth traders

Published on Tuesday, 24th December 2019

Students from King Edward VI College had a successful day of trading at Nuneaton’s Market Place last week.

Selling a superb range of their own products as well as tempting seasonal delights, the two teams of students involved collectively made around £100.

Developing valuable business skills such as financial management and marketing in a real-world setting, the students also gained some important self-employment skills.

Cllr Julie Jackson, Leader of the Borough Council said:

“We were delighted to have youth traders once again at Nuneaton Market and provide an opportunity for them to manage their own stalls and gain valuable hands on experience.

“Nuneaton and Bedworth are well recognised for their successful markets, and it’s great that we are able to give our local students a chance to apply their knowledge in a trading setting.
