7 Days of Money Smart Tips

Here at NBBC, we realise that Christmas can not only be a time of joy and festivities, but it can also be a time of increased stress and worries over money.

Therefore, to give you some guidance when managing finances and hopefully help take the pressure off at this demanding time of year, we have created some simple tips and advice in our ‘7 Days of Money Smart Tips’ campaign, which we will be sharing on our social media channels over the coming days in the run up to Christmas.

“Christmas is a time that can increase pressure to households that are already struggling with financial worries. We have created this campaign to provide some tips on how to manage that financial burden and hopefully help to ease some of the associated stresses, we hope you find this useful.”

We also provide help and advice here at the council. Our Financial Inclusion Support Officers can provide guidance on a range of subjects including; bill payments, budgeting and general money management. If you would like to speak to one of them please email your contact details along with a brief description of the advice you would like to- and they will get in touch.

We have also just launched our ‘Customer Referral Form Service’, which has been designed to help direct customers to fantastic, free help and support services.
